Departing from your club, we make our way to Falmouth arriving at the Membury Hall Hotel for our stay of 4 nights

MONDAY: Departing from your club, we make our way to Falmouth arriving at the Membury Hall Hotel for our stay of 4 nights.

TUESDAY: After breakfast we set off on our full day excursion to St Ives is one of the most famous tourist destinations, known all over the World for its beaches, the art scene, surfing and great food. With the picture-perfect fishing harbour, this wonderful seaside town with narrow cobbled streets and pretty fisherman’s cottages all around, surrounded by sea and outstanding natural beauty, is a fantastic place to visit St Ives has managed to resist becoming completely taken over by high street chain stores, and has a wealth of small independent shops that you would be hard pressed to find anywhere else. Of course, there are surf shops, as you would expect in the town that is home to Porthmeor Beach, and gift and pasty shops as befits a town that is such an iconic holiday destination – but mooch around the cobbled streets and you will find some unique places and buy some fabulous things! Later on we make a stop at The Cornish Gold centre – Why not treat you’re selves to a scrumptious homemade Cornish cream tea, Cornish style with clotted cream with jam (on top of course)     Depart Hotel 09.45am

WEDNEDAY: After breakfast we head for Truro, where shopaholics visiting Truro will find plenty to fill their bags, with the best selection of shopping opportunities located bang in the heart of the city. With well-known brands standing alongside local stores, gift shops, tearooms and pubs, Truro’s elegant shopping centre is spread around the main streets and interconnecting alleys and cobblestone streets. Soaring above the surrounding rooftops, Truro Cathedral is located in the centre of this thriving Cornish city. Designed by architect John Loughborough Pearson, it is one of only three cathedrals in the UK which has three spires. Completed in 1910 it is a magnificent example of gothic revival architecture. A must-see place to visit in Cornwall with free entry. Later on we go onto Mevagissey, which is an attractive old town which was once the centre of Cornwall’s pilchard fishery and which still boasts a working harbour, with a few dozen small fishing boats. The narrow streets have many gift shops, craft workshops, galleries, cafés and pubs. Depart Hotel 09.45am

THURSDAY: (Optional full day excursion £7.00). Today we visit the historic fishing port, Padstow, is situated on the North Cornwall coast at the mouth of the River Camel. Padstow is filled with an intricate maze of streets brimming withcharacter and unique crafts, a very good example of Cornish life in times gone by. Built into the hillside it defies the modern rules of town planning, and instead allows its eccentric personality to shine through, especially in the colourwashed cottages that lead you down to the attractive harbour. The harbour is a marina for some wonderful boats, very enjoyable to walk around. There is an excellent range of shops in Padstow for a town of its size. It includes a large amount of art and craft shops and galleries, shoe shops, gift shops and more. Later on we return to Newquay where you will be dropped in the town for some free time to explore Newquay for a bit of last minute shopping. (Your coach will collect you from town for the return to the hotel) Depart Hotel 09.45am

FRIDAY: Sadly after breakfast, it’s time to board our coach and set off for home.

Depart Hotel 09.30am
